Sam Roberts

Sam Roberts is Director of Investment Consulting at Cartwright, where his team advises corporate pension schemes, charities and corporate treasuries on their balance sheet assets as a whole. The team assesses traditional and digital assets on the same terms, advises on whether and how much to hold, and implements the result: allocation sizing, manager and custodian selection, operational set-up and ongoing governance. In 2024 the team advised on the first direct bitcoin allocation by a UK corporate pension scheme; it has advised other clients against allocating. Sam is a qualified actuary and Non-Executive Chair of Connecting Excellence Group plc (XCE).
